• Monday, November 11. SKI SEASON BEGINS! 

• Tuesday, December 3rd: Moorhead/Detroit Lakes Invite, 10am @ Detroit Mountain. (JH and HS) . Cancelled. I'm told that D-Mountain is focusing all their efforts on opening their hills for the season... 

• Saturday, December 7th: Bemidji Invite, 10am @ Bemidji (JH and HS)  Cancelled. Not enough snow. Sorry, gang.

• Thursday, December 12th: Fergus Falls Invite, 10am @ Spidahl's Ski Gaard (JH and HS)  Results: www.pickleevents.com. Cancelled due to low/no snow.

• Tuesday, December 17th: Detroit Lakes Invite, 11am @ Maplelag (JH and HS). Driving Directions. Results:  https://www.webscorer.com/

• Friday, December 27th: Brainerd Invite, 10am at the Arboretum (JH and HS). Driving Directions. Results: www.pickleevents.com 

  • • Leave Time:

      • Meet @ Team Room by 6:15am

      • Bus leaves @ 6:30am

    • Race Format: 

      • Varsity – Continuous Pursuit: 6 skiers/team- each skier 5.5 km x 2 (classic followed by skate)

      • Varsity- Sprints: 2 two-person teams per school. Teams alternate four 1.5km loops. 2 Preliminary sprint races and 1 final sprint. Top 6 teams based on time advance to the final.

      • JV – 5.5 km freestyle Wave start (30 second interval)

      • JH – 3.6 km freestyle Wave start (30 second interval)

    • Schedule: 

      • 9:30 Varsity Boys Sprint Prelim heat 1 (1 team/school)

      • 10:00 Varsity Boys Sprint Prelim heat 2 (1 team/school)

      • 10:30 Varsity Girls Sprint Prelim heat 1 (1 team/school)

      • 11:00 Varsity Girls Sprint Prelim heat 2 (1 team/school)

      • 12:00 Varsity Boys continuous pursuit (Max 6 entries/school)

      • 12:10 Varsity Girls continuous pursuit (Max 6 entries/school)

      • 1:00 JV skate boys

      • 1:10 JV skate girls

      •  2:00  JH skate boys

      •  2:10  JH skate girls

      •  3:00 Sprint finals boys (6 teams)

      •  3:30 Sprint finals girls (6 teams)

      •  4:15 Awards: Medals top 3 pursuit skiers and top sprint team. Ribbons top 5 JV and JH  Winning teams announced and recognized.

    • Return: About 7:30pm. We'll make a quick food stop on the way home. Bring $$ or pack a dinner.

  • • Note: The MSHSL is not allowing any Sunday travel with teams. 

    • We will leave Thursday afternoon and return late Saturday evening.
