Phase II: Selling Raffle Tickets This part is somewhat easy. It has been my experience that the tickets practically sell themselves. This year we have over $4,000 in prizes thanks to your hard work! I appreciate you! Below is the lowdown:
We're selling raffles through January 15. At the very latest, please have all tickets sold and money collected before the drawing at 6pm on January 16th. The drawing will be held in the KSS media center.
We have printed 150 raffle books of 10. With 36 skiers on our team, we ask every athlete to sell at least 3 books/30 tickets with a minimum cap of 5 for families. If you do not sell all your tickets, we ask that you purchase any remaining tickets. It's possible another athlete might be able to sell your remaining tickets if you communicate in a timely manner.
Tickets are $5 each with over $4,000 in prizes. One cash prize did not make it on the ticket in time, $500 cash from Quality Toyota. And $50 from Ugstad Plumbing.
Please be organized.
Keep your raffle tickets and stubs safe and organized.
Keep the collected money safe and organized.
In short, be organized. ;)
Stubs and money collected may be brought to Coach Scharnberg in his office at the high school during this phase. Please resist giving him stubs and money at practice.
Extra books can be obtained from Coach Scharnberg.
Each skier will receive two books of raffle tickets to start. As athletes bring in $ and stubs, additional books will be distributed.
We will once again award the top seller and have a drawing. The more books you sell, the better your chance at winning. Last year's winner received a new set of Leki PRC 750 racing poles.
To say thank you, we will give a team poster with all the sponsors listed. Not only does it recognize our many awesome sponsors, but it also promotes our awesome team. It is critical that we distribute these posters to every business/person that donated. We will take a group picture at Spidahl’s for the poster after the break.
Don’t hesitate to reach out with questions, concerns, ideas, and the like. Thanks in advance for your help! 651-494-4725.
Onward,
Coach Scharnberg
